Looking for an Assistant

Hot off the press...The lovely Rachel will be having another baby in November as you all may well know if you are a customer as we are watching her grow..She is looking for an assistant now to help with all the overflowing work she has. This job is going to require you to do anything from running errands, answering phone calls, writing proposals, emailing clients, making invoices for our weekly accounts, this job will require you to work until the work is done.

Scottsdale Flower Store owner seeking a personal assistant. Very friendly working environment, and the right person will have a great attitude and represent the store in a professional demeanor at all times. Great for someone who is interested in working in the flower/wedding/event planning business. Possibility for advancement, assistant can expect 20-30 hours a week.

Duties:
-represent the store in a professional demeanor
-general errands for the store on a daily basis
-customer service functions
-schedule appointments
-flower deliveries
-make photocopies, fax documents, and mail documents

Qualifications:
-must have a high school diploma or GED
-posses a current/valid AZ drivers license
-prior experience a plus but not required
-general computer knowledge with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quickbooks.

Flowers for a year!!!

Congratulations to Roz Cimbura for winning a years worth of flowers! I had the pleasure of meeting her in person today and the flowers couldn't go to a nicer person. Sugar Magnolia will be giving away another years worth of flowers at our open house in October. We will have more information on the blog about the open house in the middle of September and if you are already a customer at the store then you will receive a formal invitation soon!

21 Cakes Cupcakes and Gooey Butter Cakes

21 Cakes Cupcake flavors for the weekend are Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Frosting and Salted Caramel Drizzle, Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting, and Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Frosting. I have already sold half of them today so hurry in and get them while I have them!

21 Cakes Cupcakes have arrived!!!

Linda Schneider owner and creator of 21 Cupcakes has enriched all of our lives by making these cupcakes! Today was my first day carrying them and I did not have one customer that came in today that didn't buy one and I didn't even mention them. They Speak for themselves and boy do they make you feel wonderful when you eat them. Oh joy! Currently in the store we have chocolate with Vanilla frosting and Banana chocolate chip with peanut butter cream cheese frosting. On monday check the new flavors I will have. Come get yours while I still have them!

Antique Handcrafted Stain Glass bottle Artistry!

  What a wonderful thing to put in your house. I have two at my own home that are connected to an antique glass baby bottle and you can actually put your childs first hair cut, first lost tooth and anything else that is very sentimental in the bottle as a beautiful keepsake.

A great book by Mo Williams and wonderful to have the pigeon stuffed animal that screams "Let me Drive the Bus!!!!" My youngest son walked out my store today with this under his arm. I got home from work and he is still carrying it around.  A great gift for young boys and girls!
